Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions? We have answers.
How many nights can I charter?
This is up to you. How long do you want to stay? The normal length of stay is 7 days.
Are their plenty of restaurants on each island?
There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. But not on EVERY island. Any island that has mooring balls, will usually have restaurants. If you want to know about a specific island, please send us a message or give us a call.
Do I have to eat out or can I eat on the boat?
Yes, you can definitely eat on the boat. It is fully equipped with cooking tools and utensils as well as a complete set of dishes. You can cook on a cook stove, microwave, convection oven or even a gas grill.
You can shop before you depart on your adventure and bring it with you or you can have all your provisioning needs delivered to the boat for delivery on your arrival date. Several grocery stores and specialty stores will deliver. But double check on what their delivery fees will be as they differ from store to store.
What is included in my charter?
Contact Marine Max for this information. Marinemax.com 813.644.8701
What if I run out of food before the end of my charter?
No worries. You can reprovision at Leverick Bay, Soper’s Hole, or Nanny Cay. This includes fresh produce, staples, and beverages (including alcohol).
How do I know if I am able to operate the boat or if I need a captain?
If you have experience or a boat license/certificate, you can discuss this with Marine Max and they will decide if you have the experience they are comfortable with for you to operate the boat. If not, a captain will be needed. Keep in mind, even though a 44′ yacht isn’t a huge vessel, it is larger than a pontoon or fishing boat operated in your local lake.
